Mark's coffin at his funeral. For some reason he was allowed to rest in state in an area of the Town Cemetery called the crypt, which was very cool. Because it was also winter, he remained unembalmed for some months, a burial practice he would have preferred, given his practice. Many Dzog-chen and Mahamudra practitioners believe it is possible to continue meditating long after the body appears to be dead.
