Zen Mountain Monastery
Offering weekly retreats, week-long silent meditation retreats (sesshins), one-month residential training programs, and Sunday morning services. The main house of the Mountains and Rivers Order of Zen Buddhism is situated on 235 acres in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York and offers rigorous, traditional training in the Eight Gates of Zen, adapted for the West by Abbot John Daido Loori.
