Burmese Blogger Nay Phone Latt sentenced to 20 years in prison

A Burmese blogger, Nay Phone Latt, was sentenced to twenty years and six months in prison for mocking the brutal and humorless criminals who run Burma. His blog, in Burmese, is here. Interesting things are happening in the collision of book publishing with Google and the Kindle. One word: ambivalence.

One problem with the environmental movement: It's way way too upscale, especially with a global recession upon us. But even people who consider their financial situation as "poor" are willing to pay more for green products.
