Day 35 Big Sit Meditation Tip
If meditation is a priority, then it’s helpful to take that word literally and put meditation first. An example would be my rule of not turning on the computer before I’ve meditated. Simple, but effective. Probably the most trenchant advice I ever heard was in eight words from Suzuki Roshi:
"Organize your life so you can sit well."
- Senior Shambhala teacher David Schneider

I never think of skipping breakfast, brushing my teeth, or taking a shower, the list could go one. But the one thing that is at the top of the list is sitting for 30 minutes every day. For me it is the first thing I do in the morning, everything else waits. Of course my Cuckoo clock help, the first cuckoo (something thirty) means I have to start, the next Cuckoo on the hour means I'm done. If I end up sleeping late something on my list gets missed but it is NOT the meditation. Can't remember the last time I missed... Guess it works for me.
i have been contented all the abercrombie & fitch. Every last product or service of this manufacturer is shelved within the outlet stores of Abercrombie and Fitch in an attractive and tidiest way
I usually start my morning while still in bed,a brief body scan helps me to tune into me from inside out.
Slowly bringing myself up to sit on the edge of the bed and feel my feet touch the floor.
As I move to the cushion to sit each step is mindful.
Me three. I love the computer rule! I'm going to try it. (laughing inside as I type those words tho...)
Works well me, too!
Good advice re: the computer. I'm addicted! And it definitely cramps my sitting style. :)
