Many donors find that appreciated stock provides a superb vehicle for making a charitable donation to Tricycle since it provides the added benefit of avoiding or reducing the federal capital gains taxes that would be due if the stock were sold outright. Bequests and other planned gifts also play an important role in sustaining Tricycle's work.
