2,600-year-old Buddhist Monastery Unearthed in Afghanistan
Jeff Watt, the director of Himalayan Art Resources, just brought this story to our attention. A Chinese copper mining company in Afghanistan, the China Metallurgical Group Corp, recently unearthed an ancient Buddhist monastery that is believed to be 2,600 years old.
