The Spring 2012 issue of Tricycle features an interview with Zen priest and hula instructor June Tanoue. But our interview doesn't show June at her finest, which is performing. You can see her singing and dancing in both traditional and modern styles in the video below, which was shot in September 2011 at New York's Lincoln Center as part of a memorial for June's student, the dancer Becky Jung.
