Fleet's in town!
No, we don't mean the Navy... We were very lucky to have Fleet Maull, Zen Peacemaker and founder of the Prison Dharma Network, pay a visit to the Tricycle offices today. Among other things, we discussed Tricycle's ongoing collaboration with PDN, charnel ground meditation, his Bearing Witness Retreats to Rwanda, and the possibility of him leading a Tricycle Retreat on Engaged Buddhism this summer. Fleet is a superb meditation instructor and is very familiar with teaching in the online arena, so we'll be very excited to see him on our site as a retreat leader soon!
(He had just come from the local Starbucks, where they write customers' names on the cups. You can almost make out the "Fleet" written near the top of the cup in this photo.)
