Dismantling a Three-Headed, Six-Armed Buddha

The large "Three Heads Six Arms" buddha sculpture, by Chinese artist Zhang Huan, was being removed from San Francisco's Civic Center Plaza yesterday. The 26-foot sculpture had been there since May to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the city's sister-city relationship with Shanghai, China.
